Etching, commonly referred to as photochemical etching, refers to the removal of the protective film in the area to be etched after exposure, plate making and development, and the contact with chemical solution during etching to achieve the effect of dissolving corrosion and forming concave convex or hollow molding. Etching processing technology can be divided into wet etching and dry etching. Wet etching uses the chemical reaction between a specific solution and the film to remove the part of the film that is not covered by photoresist to achieve the purpose of etching. This etching method is also called wet etching. The focus here is on wet etching. Etching can produce thin metal parts quickly and cheaply. Some processing techniques may not be suitable for processing thin metal parts.
